The Farm
Morning Glory Farm was designed and built by Tennessee watercolor artist G. Webb. Through the years, the farm has been used as his studio as well as a quiet getaway for family and friends. Surrounded by historic stone walls and bordered by the picturesque Dunn’s Creek, the farm is reminiscent of an early mountain homestead. The clapboard cabin and farmhouse buildings are nestled among the gardens, flower beds and blueberry patch. The dinner “pig”vilion (you know, that pavilion made for pigging out), complete with an old-fashioned wood stove, is the perfect space for small receptions or rehearsal dinners at your Smoky Mountain wedding. For large weddings, you’ve got the entire barn and backyard for space! We can accommodate nearly any guest list size, and we’ve got plenty of parking too.
The Ceremony Site
Looking for mountain views? We’ve got ’em! The hand-built arbor surrounded by Fraser firs, rhododendrons, wild flower gardens and native flowers takes advantage of the gorgeous Smoky Mountain view atop the hillside vineyard at Morning Glory Farm. An unbelievable site for wedding photos!
The Barn
The reception starts here! A converted horse stall serves as the Morning Glory Bar and a covered outdoor reception area is cozy and quaint for your guests. Mosey over to the outdoor fire pit, where guests can relax on boulders and wooden benches. (Don’t worry, we’ll provide the firewood!) We also have a dedicated space for cornhole and other yard games. Brides and the bridal party can get ready right on site in the rustic cabin with a cozy fireplace, kitchen and front-porch sitting area. The barn reception area can accommodate 75 guests. For weddings over 75 guests, we recommend getting a tent from one of our trusted vendors. Not sure what’s best? Give us a call at 865-368-3433, and we’ll go over the details.
Barn is 50’x60′.
